I think that the first one is a great color scheme, though mabey his cloves should match his shoes. The rubber gloves they use in the real world are black.
as for design the fist one is the closest for me too. I say just get it closer to the ref that I posted and were there. Meaning a neck, shape and scale of head nose and feet, amount of hair, and thin glasses.
Then we'll call it good. We need to make sure we have a design though and not just a character, so we should put him next to an animal gun and prop in the same style.
